三岁的孩子英文游戏（教你和宝宝玩拔根的英文）

如果你在中国的北方长大，拔根儿一定是你童年的美好记忆，或许是你最钟爱的游戏之一。根儿，即叶子的柄，杨树叶通常是最好的选择。不需要昂贵的玩具，那满地的落叶就是大自然的礼物。

小雅多么希望这样的传统游戏项目能一代代传承下去。同时，民族的也是世界的，有落叶的地方，就可以开展这样的游戏。小雅采访了团队中的英美国家的外教，他们确实没玩过这个游戏，但游戏中涉及的动作却是很好的英语学习内容。怎么样，试试用英文教宝宝玩拔根儿吧！

Leaf Stem Fight

拔根

Child: Mommy, look outside!

宝宝：妈妈，看外面！

There are so many leaves on the ground.

地上有好多落叶呀。

Mom: Yeah, lets put on our jackets and go out to play.

妈妈：嗯，咱们穿上外套，去外面玩吧。

When I was young, we used to play a fun game called "leaf stem fight" a lot in the fall.

我小的时候，我们在秋天经常玩一个好玩的游戏叫“拔根”。

拔根这个游戏没有官方翻译，leaf stem fight是小雅团队翻译的。叶子的根部，也就是叶柄，口语中叫stem，植物学上叫petiole。

It was a game played with fallen leaves by children in the north,

它是北方小朋友用落叶玩的游戏，

but I was told children in the south play a similar game with dog-tail grass or grass roots.

不过我听说南方小朋友会用狗尾巴草或者草根玩类似的游戏。

Ill show you how to play.

我一会儿教你怎么玩。

☀ Outside 在外面Mom: This game is played with poplar leaves because their stems are the strongest.

妈妈：这个游戏是用杨树叶玩的，因为它们的根最结实。

Chinese parasol leaves are also big but their stems are not as tough.

梧桐叶也很大，但是它们的根不够韧。

Look, here are the poplar leaves I was talking about.

看，这就是我说的杨树叶。

Lets each pick up one, pull off the leaf, and keep the stem.

咱们每人捡一个，把叶子揪掉，留着根儿。

Child: Is this one okay?

宝宝：这根可以吗？

Mom: Its not a good choice - too brittle.

妈妈：这根不是个好选择，太脆了。

Choose the old brown ones that are not yet dry.

选棕色的老根儿，干的也不行。

Child: How about this one?

宝宝：这根怎么样？

Mom: Yeah, you can try with it.

妈妈：嗯，可以试试。

Hold the two ends of the stem and cross yours with mine, and then pull as hard as you can towards yourself.

握着根儿的两端，把你的和我的交叉，然后往你自己那边使劲儿拔。

Lets see who has the stronger stem.

看谁的根更结实。

Be careful and stand still.

小心点，站稳了。

You dont want to fall.

可别摔倒哦。

Are you ready?

准备好了吗？

Child: Yes, I am.

宝宝：准备好了。

Mom: One, two, three, pull!

妈妈：一、二、三，拔！

Child: Mom, your stem broke.

宝宝：妈妈，你的根断了。

Mom: You win!

妈妈：你赢了！

Give yourself a round of applause.

给你自己鼓鼓掌。

Child: That was fun!

宝宝：真好玩！

Lets play some more.

咱们再玩会儿吧。

Mom: Okay, why dont you go collect as many stems as you can first?

妈妈：好的，你先去多收集点根吧。

Child: Sure.

宝宝：好的。

☀ Child collects stems and comes back 宝宝去收集根然后回来了

Child: Mom, these are yours.

宝宝：妈妈，这些是你的。

Come on, lets see who has the stronger stem now.

来吧，看这次谁的根儿更厉害。

☀ After several rounds 几回合后

Child: Uh-oh, my stem is going to break.

宝宝：啊哦，我的根要断了。

Mom: Try to use different parts of your winning stem to fight

妈妈：用你的老赢的那个根的不同位置来拔，

so that it can withstand more rounds.

这样的话它能多坚持几轮。

☀ Child wins multiple times 宝宝赢了多次

Mom: Thats it for now.

妈妈：就玩到这儿吧。

Your stem can be awarded as the King Stem of the Day.

你的这个根儿可以被授予今天的根儿王称号了。
