儿童节温妮女巫（让小孩痴迷的女巫温妮Winnie）

万圣节刚刚过去，在把孩子装扮成各种可爱的鬼怪的时候，我们又看到了这套女巫温妮，拿出来又开开心心地读了一遍。

女巫温妮总是充满着天马行空般的想象力和幽默感，小编觉得这个作者和插画家真是太厉害了，构思真是巧妙，女巫温妮，不只让小朋友们着迷，更是深受我们家长的喜爱。

Winnie the Witch and her big black cat Wilbur loved to visit the museum.

女巫温妮和她的大黑猫威尔伯都喜欢参观博物馆。

It was full of fascinating things.

博物馆里有很多让人着迷的东西。

There were bugs and beetles and creepy crawlies and slinky snakes.

这里有像甲虫这样的昆虫，还有像蛇这样让人不寒而栗的爬行动物。

There were buttons to push, levers to pull, and games to play.

在这里，你可以按按钮、拉控制杆，还能玩各种各样好玩儿的游戏。

But best of all was the dinosaur room.

但博物馆里最棒的还是恐龙馆。

Winnie and Wilbur liked to look at the bones and footprints and models.

温妮和威尔伯最喜欢看恐龙的骨架、脚印和模型了。

"Id love to see a real dinosaur one day," Winnie always said.

“要是哪天能看见真正的恐龙就好了。”温妮常常这么说。

And Wilbur always thought, "Im glad Ill never see a real dinosaur."

威尔伯却总是想：“真高兴我永远都看不见真正的恐龙！”

One day, when Winnie and Wilbur were flying home from the library, Winnie looked down and saw a big crowd of people in the museum courtyard.

一天，温妮正带着威尔伯从图书馆往家飞。突然，她看到一大群人聚在博物馆的院子里。

"Whatevers happening there?" asked Winnie, and she flew down to have a look.

“出什么事了？”温妮非常好奇。于是，她朝下面飞去，想要看个究竟。

There, in the courtyard, was an enormous skeleton.

院子里放着一副巨大的骨架。

It was dinosaur week at the museum, and there was a special competition...

原来，博物馆正在举办恐龙周活动，还有一场特别比赛……

"Special Competition

特别比赛

Draw a picture or make a model to show what the skeleton looked like when it was a dinosaur. And win a prize!"

画一幅画或者做一个模型，还原这副恐龙骨架的真实面貌，即有机会赢取大奖！”

Winnie loved winning prizes.

温妮最喜欢赢奖品了。

She looked carefully at the skeleton.

她仔细地观察着那副骨架。

It was very, very big, with lots of spiky bits.

它非常非常大，上面有许多尖尖的骨头。

Winnie couldnt decide whether to do a picture or a model, and she couldnt decide what the dinosaur might have looked like.

是画画呢，还是做模型呢？温妮拿不定主意。她也想不出这只恐龙原来到底长什么样子。

"Its too hard, Wilbur," Winnie said.

“威尔伯，这太难了！”温妮说。

But she really wanted to win the prize.

可她真的很想赢得这份大奖。

Then Winnie had an idea.

这时，温妮想到了一个主意。

"Jump on my shoulder, Wilbur," said Winnie, and they zoomed up into the sky and back to Winnies house.

“威尔伯，跳到我的肩膀上来！”温妮说道。他们骑着飞天扫帚嗖的一声朝温妮家里飞去。

Winnie got out her Big Book of Spells.

温妮拿出她的《魔法大全》。

"Yes!" she said.

“就这样！”她说。

She shut her eyes, stamped her foot, and shouted, "ABRACADABRA!"

她闭上眼睛，跺了跺脚，然后大喊一声——“阿布拉卡达布拉！”

There was a flash of fire, a great WHOOOSH...

火焰腾空而起，然后呼的一声……

And Winnie and Wilbur were back in the time of the dinosaurs.

温妮和威尔伯一下子回到了恐龙时代。

There were dinosaurs everywhere.

到处都是恐龙—

Big dinosaurs, enormous dinosaurs, gigantic dinosaurs!

大恐龙、特大恐龙，还有超级大恐龙！

Winnie and Wilbur hid in a tree.

温妮和威尔伯躲到了一棵树上。

"Now all we have to do is find a dinosaur that looks like the skeleton," said Winnie. "That should be easy."

“我们现在要找到一只跟那副骨架很相像的恐龙。”温妮说，“应该很容易吧！”

"Meeow," said Wilbur.

“喵呜。”威尔伯应了一声。

He didnt like the time of the dinosaurs.

他不喜欢恐龙时代。

Winnie looked around carefully.

温妮仔细地环顾四周。

"There it is!" she shouted. "Of course. Its a triceratops. Look at its three horns, Wilbur."

“那儿有一只！”她叫起来，“没错，是一只三角龙。威尔伯，快看它的三个角！”

"Meeeoow!" said Wilbur.

“喵——呜！”威尔伯惊叫起来。

He didnt want to look. He wanted to go home.

他可不想看什么恐龙。他只想回家。

Winnie got out her drawing book and her coloured pencils. It was much easier drawing a real dinosaur.

温妮拿出她的画本和彩色铅笔，照着真恐龙来画就容易多了。

Her drawing looked exactly like the triceratops.

她画的三角龙简直就和真的一模一样。

Well, it looked quite like the triceratops.

嗯，也不是，只能说看起来比较像三角龙。

"This is an excellent drawing," said Winnie. "Its sure to win the prize."

“这幅画真是棒级了！”温妮高兴地说，“肯定能得奖。”

"But now we need to get back to the museum. I know! The triceratops can take us."

“不过，我们要先回到博物馆去。有了！可以让三角龙带我们回去。”

"Meeeoow!" said Wilbur. He puts his paws over his eyes.

“喵——呜！”威尔伯大叫一声，用爪子捂住了眼睛。

Winnie picked him up, jumped onto the dinosaurs back, waved her magic wand, and shouted, "ABRACADABRA!"

温妮抱起威尔伯，跳到三角龙的背上，然后挥动魔法棒，大喊一声——“阿布拉卡达布拉！”

And the dinosaur WHOOSHED off to the museum.

三角龙嗖的一下飞向了博物馆。

Professor Perkins was getting ready to present the prize when the dinosaur landed in the courtyard.

此时，珀金斯教授正要准备颁奖，一只恐龙忽然落到了院子里。

Everybody was very surprised!

所有人都惊呆了！

"Well," said Professor Perkins, "I think we all know who has won the competition."

“好了，”珀金斯教授说，“我想现在大家都知道谁是这场比赛的赢家了吧。”

And he gave a big shiny medal to the triceratops.

珀金斯教授把亮闪闪的大奖颁给了三角龙。

The dinosaur was delighted.

三角龙高兴极了。

He had never won a prize before.

他还从来没有得过奖呢！

Winnie didnt mind too much.

温妮虽然没有得奖，却并不在意。

Then Winnie and Wilbur took the dinosaur home for tea.

温妮和威尔伯把三角龙带回了家，还请他吃茶点。

The dinosaur didnt like sandwiches or muffins or cakes.

可三角龙不喜欢三明治，也不喜欢松饼和蛋糕。

But he enjoyed eating Winnies trees and her roses were delicious.

他最喜欢吃的竟然是温妮家的树，除此之外，他觉得那些玫瑰花也很美味。

"Oh dear," Winnie said. "Hell eat my whole garden! Its a pity hes so big, Wilbur. Hes such a nice dinosaur."

“噢，天啊！”温妮说，“他会把整个花园都吃掉的！威尔伯，他真是一直不错的恐龙，只可惜太大了。”

Then Winnie had a wonderful idea.

突然，温妮想到了一个绝妙的好主意。

She waved her magic wand, shouted, "ABRACADABRA!"

她挥动魔法棒，大喊一声——“阿布拉卡达布拉！”

And the enormous dinosaur was a tiny dinosaur.

超级大恐龙变成了超级小恐龙。

So now Winnie never has to cut her grass.

这下，温妮再也不用修剪草坪了，

And Wilbur has a playmate that is just the right size!

而威尔伯也有了一个大小刚刚好的玩伴！
