关于遛狗不牵绳子（keepona）

今天一打开电脑就看到“贵州一小区8条狗遛弯后中毒身亡”的热点事件，这其中的谁是谁非咱们不加评论，还是只说回学英语的话题吧。说到遛狗有关的英文，大家肯定知道"walk dog"是遛狗了，关键就是这个"拴绳"的表达可是非常容易引起误会的哟，大家可得千万注意！

这个"leash"既是拴狗用的绳索，也可以当作动词"束缚、控制"来讲，所以"kept on a tight/short leash"这个短语就变了味儿，一般都是跟"人"来合用，表示“控制、约束某人”的意思，也就是我们所常说的"把某人管得很紧、管严点儿"的意思啦。
