When you travel to another country,

当你去某个城市旅游时

it can be very stressful,

可能会感到压力大

because you have to travel through sometimes two or three different airports,

因为你有时要经过两三个不同的机场

and airports are very stressful places.

而机场是个让人感到有压力的地方

In this lesson, Im going to teach you some airport vocabulary,

that will help make your travels easier.

Alright, here is our boarding pass.

好了 这就是我们的登机牌

Were flying on United Airlines,

我们乘坐的是联合航空公司的飞机

and were flying from Rapid City South Dakota to Denver Colorado.

我们是从南达科他州的拉皮德市飞往科罗拉多州的丹佛市

These 3 letters RAP here and here, that means that airport code.

这三个字母分别代表着机场代码

So every airport in the world has a code.

所以说 每一个机场都有一个代码

RAP means rapid city and DEN means Denver Colorado.

所以RAP指的是拉皮特城 DEN指的是科罗拉多州丹佛

Okay, so we need to go to our departure gate.

所以 我们现在得去登机门

So our departure gate is A22, and our boarding time is 3:15pm.

所以 我们的登机门是A22号 登机时间是下午3:15

The word board means to get on.

单词board就是登机的意思

So we need to get on the plane at 3:15 pm,

所以我们需要在下午3:15登机

and our departure time is 3:40 pm.

起飞的时间是下午3:40

Usually the boarding time is about 30 minutes before the departure time.

通常 登机时间在起飞前30分钟左右

Now were sitting in seat number 23A and thats in zone 2.

现在 我们是坐在23A号座位 那是在2区

So most airlines have a boarding by zone number.

所以 大多数航空公司都有按区域编号登机的系统

So the gate agent will say were now boarding Zone 2.

所以 登机口工作人员现在就会说 我们现在在2区登机

So if you have two on your boarding pass, that means you should go and board.

所以如果你的登机牌上写的是区域2 也就意味着你现在可以登机了

They board the back of the plane first to save time.

为了节省时间 工作人员会先登机

So we to find seat number 23A when we get on the plane and thats in coach.

所以 我们上飞机时要找到23A号座位 那是经济舱

Coach means economy class.

coach指的就是经济舱

So most big airplanes have three different classes.

所以 大多数大型飞机都有三个不同的等级舱

Economy class, business class and first class.

经济舱 商务舱 头等舱

So economy class or coach is usually in the back here,

所以 经济舱通常在这后面

and then business class is closer to the front,

商务舱离前面更近

and first class is right up front.

头等舱就在最前面

This plane here looks like it only has two classes,

这架飞机看起来好像只有两种等级舱

economy and maybe business class.

经济舱 或许这个是商务舱
